In 1982 after pastoring for ten years, our founder and counsellor, Terry began working with Burden Bearers, a Christian counselling service in Vancouver and Fort St. John, B.C. Terry worked with them for a number of years before setting out on his own.

Over the past 30 years Terry has received training from Vanguard College, Elijah House Counselling Services, Family Mediation Canada, and Grief Therapy Training with Dr. Alan Wolfelt, Sexual Abuse Training, and two units with Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education [CAPPE] at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

In 1962, after Terrys dads self-inflicted death, his mother was left to raise three children as a single-parent. The shock and trauma left Terry's family in disarray. After a number of years of self-destructive behavior, Terry found hope in 1970 when a friend introduced him to a personal experience with Jesus Christ. Over the past 35 years many life experiences have shaped Terry's ability to connect with those around him. When people come to Terry for counselling, they meet someone who is safe, caring compassionate, and concerned.

Terry and Rosella were married on September 26, 1970 in Vancouver, British Columbia. They have three children: Robin-Taine, Ryan, & Raymond. Robin-Taine, our oldest, is married to Michael Brownell. Michael and Robin have five children, Meaghan, Seth, Zachary, Monet and Bronwyn. Our son, Ryan lives in Regina Sk. Our youngest, Raymond is married Lindsay and have a son, Jayden.
